Applications
for the 2008/09 Nipper Season are now closed
Our Nippers
program provides a training ground for future lifesavers incorporating activities
aimed at developing and culturing beginner lifesaving skills.
Membership is open to all children aged 7 (as at September 30) to 13.
The price
structure for this season includes:-
 - Gunnamatta T-shirt
- Nipper Water Safety Cap
- Free Access to Gunnamatta
National Park
- Registration and Insurance
- BBQ at the end of each session
- Certificates and Awards
- Nipper Activity Sessions
- Parents/Nippers Information
Booklet
The Gunnamatta SLSC Nippers program is an
inexpensive activity incorporating theory and practical, wading, board
paddling, beach activities, surf awareness, beach safety, beach games,
first aid and resuscitation. Most
importantly, it is FUN!
Competition
will also be offered that incorporates fun and teamwork. Competition
events for Nippers involve swimming, board paddling, wadding, running and
beach flags. This is optional at your own expense.
