This custom Lumberjack DOS is 7'0" x 21 ½" x 3 1/8" x 47L. It is outside the size range we normally shape in this model. Perfect for someone heavier who wants a high performance shortboard.
It all started with the Lumberjack, and for those who don't remember.....
11 years ago Hayden Forrest and our shaper Simon Forward came up with a new design for our high performance surfboards, The Lumberjack. Over the years that shape has evolved to our current model THE DOS LUMBERJACK.
The DOS outline features a Clayton Flyer and swallow tail running to a pinned nose.
The outstanding performance of this shape comes from the the combination of a deep concave and a nose to tail rocker that Fordy has blended perfectly on file then created on the CAD Shaping Machine. The Rails are slim/soft with an aggressive edge through the tail area.
Riding characteristics are a combination of speed down the line and also in the vertical direction, the deep concaves give this surfboard a frictionless feel - very light underfoot with a standard glassing layout.

5ft 7in x 19⅜ x 2½
“This is my small wave/bay board for anything up to 3ft. It goes really fast and can still hold a rail on a 3ft section. Fin wise I often ride it as a 2 plus one for a bit of extra flare plus fun.
5ft 9in x 18 ⅞ x 2½
This is my every day board that I ride 90% of the time. It goes great in anything. I mainly surf it in the 3 to 5 ft rip bowls and I feel like the swallow has the perfect balance of hold and release for our local waves. I love the little flyer on this model as you know it will hold if you push the tail in and you can get a tight pivot on the rail. This is the surfboard I used most of the time in Indonesia”.
