If you are snowboarding with the Burton Step On system you should consider a new quick release product from Pro Standard. The Quick Release easily mounts to your rear bindings for fast exits, simply push the button and your rear boot is released from the binding.
If you have mobility issues, these are mandatory. You’ll save about 20cm of reaching.
If you ever get stuck in a compromised situation, like in a treewell, you have a much better chance of getting off of your board. They could be life saving.
